Four Wheel Driving Mt Hotham

Not many people know about the amazing four wheel driving around Mt Hotham. There are many tracks that wind their way through river crossings, rolling high plains, ridge lines and razorbacks around the Great Alpine National Park. If you love the high country and exploring the prettiest high country Victoria has to offer, you must add 4×4 driving around Mt Hotham to your bucket list.

The Beyond Hotham self-guided tour book enables 4WD’ers to access and plan out the most scenic regions of the Alpine National Park around Hotham at their own pace and convenience. With route guides, distances, expected durations and a number of technical tips it has never been easier to get out there in this majestic Alpine High Country.

Arrabri Ski Club is the perfect base to explore the stunning terrain from. You can drive up to Hotham from Melbourne via Harrretville or Omeo and check into our comfortable family friendly lodge. Arrive Friday night and then head out Saturday morning and complete one or two of the self-guided tours. Then head back to Arrabri and cook a bbq or dinner in our commercial kitchen and relive the days highlights with friends. Wake up Sunday and do it all again or even head to the Dargo Pub for lunch and then back to Melbourne.

Our lodge is made of 6 large family rooms that have 4 queen size beds, seperate ensuite including shower and toilet. We have full size commercial kitchen, kids play room including DVD player and a Nintendo console, stereo, wifi and plenty of space for kids to play. You will also not believe the incredible view our lodge has over the magnificent alpine. Our summer accommodation pricing is very affordable for families and even cheaper for groups that book out the whole lodge.
